Locally owned and operated, Bristol Morgan Bank has been doing business in Fond du Lac County for over 120 years. As a community bank, we provide local services for individuals, businesses, and organizations across the community.
Bristol Morgan Bank offers a scholarship that may be renewed for a total of four years of post-secondary education to high school graduates living in Fond du Lac, Dodge, or Winnebago County. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a new graduating senior every year and will be renewable to the student for up to four years contingent on continuous enrollment and the maintenance of eligibility requirements.
SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES AND CRITERIA
A $1,000 renewable scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the following criteria:
- A graduating senior of a Fond du Lac, Dodge, or Winnebago County high school and/or a legal resident of Fond du Lac, Dodge, or Winnebago County
- Student must be a Bristol Morgan Bank customer or child/grandchild of a customer. Employees, children, or grandchildren of Bristol Morgan employees are not eligible to apply.
- Scholarship may be renewed for a total of up to four years including the initial year of award.
- Student must be pursuing a technical or baccalaureate degree or certification program.
- Recipient should be recognized as a full-time student or enrolled in documented certification program.
- Scholarship awarded to technical college graduate may apply for additional eligibility to baccalaureate degree if applicant goes directly from technical college to pursue baccalaureate degree.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5
- Personal Statement, School Activities, Community Service & Involvement, and Job/Work History
The fund is managed and distributed through the Fond du Lac Area Foundation.
